Preface

The 21st Century marked an aura for E-Business and bloom for BPOs-call center
renaissance in the Philippines. Many foreign investors observed the high potential of the most
beautiful island country in Pacific Ocean in terms of manpower resources as well as the
economic resources. Many investors in the Philippines are from United States, Japan and Korea
followed by India very recently. Philippines has an eighty percent (80%) English speaking
population…

Most of the call centers are based in the Metro Manila, the capital city of the country
but recently some of the big call centers are starting to move to other provinces of the Island
like Baguio, Laguna or Cebu and now towards Albay. Viewing the potential of the Albay
Province (Bicol Region) which is updating with a new Techno Park to inhouse foreign investors.
Also various leading institutions, in collaboration with foreign agencies, are establishing
Training Centers for producing able call center agents to cater the future. This prompted some
of professionals in the field to make use of the English speaking power of the local populace particularly in the Bicol region, which shall service foreign clients and they christened the corporation to ASIA PACIFIC TECHNOSYS INC.

Asia Pacific Technosys Inc. shall provide BPO services for clients spreading to Beijing
(China), Chennai (India), Netherlands and across the Asian-European segments.
Call center is one of the few businesses that can give equal employment opportunities
considering that most Filipinos are fluent in English and also, are highly profitable and therefore
they are measured to be one of the largest business wiz in the world.
Eventually, the company plans to tap local clients as well so as to widen the scope of the
clientele.

The company was named Asia Pacific because most of the upcoming call centers are located in the Asia Pacific regions like in Singapore, China, India and in the Philippines as well.
